Neighbors Outreach Wetaskiwin (NOW) backpack program
Student council chose the Neighbors Outreach Wetaskiwin (NOW) backpack program as our local Christmas Fundraiser.
Students had a list of items with point values that they could bring in like toiletries, backpacks, hoodies, etc. The class that earned the most points, won a Christmas Pizza party.
The donations were delivered to NOW on Friday, December 16. Thank you to everyone who donated to the backpack campaign. We were able to fill over 20 backpacks and had leftovers items to donate to Neighbor’s Outreach! The class that earned the most points overall was…Mrs. Rusin’s cosmetology class. Congratulations!
